Founded in May 1984, the Daegu Metropolitan Traditional Music Orchestra marks its 40th anniversary this year. As a leading traditional music orchestra of Korea, it has been committed to preserve and pass down our traditional music as well as popularizing and modernizing of Korean music (Gugak) and Korean dance, and making them a part of our daily lives, as an endeavor to get closer to the citizens. The Orchestra has been well-equipped with a diverse repertoire, including traditional music orchestra compositions, Korean traditional dance, and Samulnori (traditional percussion quartet), offering a balanced performance sensibility that harmonizes tradition and modernity. In addition to holding six regular concerts annually, it also organizes special concerts, overseas and regional exchange music events, Korean Traditional Dance Nights, Youth Concerto Nights, and Sarangbang Music Concerts, leading the development of local culture by creating new and unique expressions of our culture and environment.

- Sejong Center does not operate its own parking lot.

Audiences who use performances, exhibitions (paid) and experiences (paid exhibition experience) can get a discount on parking fees when using Sejong-ro public parking lot.
If you complete the settlement in advance at the unmanned settlement machine before you leave, you can avoid congestion when you leave. For other discounts, please use the manned settlement office with the relevant certificate. - Sejongro Public Parking Lot has limited space and is often full, requiring a long time to find parking. Especially on weekends and public holidays, it fills up quickly, so we highly recommend using public transportation.

- Reservation can be canceled and changed by 5p.m. the day before the viewing date (weekdays/weekends (Saturday and Sunday)/holiday)
- No reservation cancellation, change, or refund on the day of the viewing date

Cancellation Fee
- If you make a reservation three days before the viewing date, you will not be charged a fee if you cancel it within midnight on the day of the Internet reservation. From two days before the viewing date, cancellation fees will also be charged for cancellation on the day of reservation.(See below.)
